RIOtaso
Retainer Production
2026, Marikina City
Our work focused on creating a visual library for the brand, with product photography serving as the foundation for a wider range of graphic assets. Rather than thinking of each image as a finished piece with only one intended use, we looked at how the photographs, textures, and details could work together across different formats and applications.
All logos and trademarks depicted in this presentation are the property of their respective brands and are used here solely for mockup purposes. The final images and artworks presented may differ from the actual products or designs. No copyright infringement is intended.
One of the details that made this production special was the set itself. Rather than relying on newly sourced materials, the RioTaso team created their own backdrops using deadstock fabrics, giving otherwise unused textiles a new purpose within the shoot. These materials added texture and character to the images while keeping the production connected to the brand’s approach to making.

The collection also featured collaborative pieces with Gouache, SUOT, FIRE, and Starriray, bringing together brands that share an interest in pushing sustainable fashion forward. Each collaboration offered another perspective on how fashion can be made, worn, and experienced.

Our role was to translate these pieces into a visual library through photography and graphic design. We approached the shoot with an eye for the products, the materials, and the details that make each piece distinct, building a set of assets that could carry across the brand’s different platforms and communications.

We enjoy working with brands that care about what they make and the ideas they stand behind. With RioTaso, that care extended into the production itself, from the materials used to build the set to the people and brands involved in the collection.

It’s the kind of collaboration we value at Basta Kolab: working alongside people who are thoughtful about their craft and finding ways to carry that thinking into the images and design we create together.
